Clinical Use in Dentistry
Botox® may be discussed as a potential adjunctive therapy in specific cases where muscle activity of the head and neck contributes to dental or jaw-related conditions.
This may include, where clinically appropriate:
- Muscle-related jaw tension
- Symptoms associated with temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders
- Clenching or grinding-related muscular activity
All treatment decisions are made based on individual clinical assessment.
