Orthodontics (InvisalignⓇ)

Orthodontics, or more commonly known as “braces”, is a perfect way to create an exceptional smile. The proper positioning of your teeth and jaws through orthodontics can also help improve the function of your teeth and limit the wear on your gums. Having properly aligned teeth will improve your overall health and well-being, giving you more self-confidence.

At Normanview Dental, we offer a few orthodontic treatment options including braces, retainers/appliances (removable or non-removable), and Invisalign removable aligners. Invisalign is a system of custom made trays which slowly move your teeth into place over a period of time. They are usually more comfortable and less visible than regular braces, and because the trays are removable, you can eat and brush much more easily than with traditional braces.

As our patients transition from pediatric to adult teeth, your dentist will provide any necessary interceptive orthodontic corrections. These are often used to correct concerns such as crowding or thumb sucking, which could impact the future alignment of the patient’s teeth.
